Restaurant TAK Welcomes Fredrik Sundström as New Executive Chef

Restaurant TAK is proud to announce the appointment of Fredrik Sundström as it's new Executive Chef. 

With a remarkable background in gastronomy and hospitality, Fredrik brings an exceptional breadth of experience and culinary expertise to our team. Fredrik Sundström has honed his skills in the kitchens of several prestigious establishments, where he has consistently been a key figure. His career includes notable tenures at renowned restaurants such as Grill, Amaranten, Gyldene Freden, Spesso, Gondolen, and Pelagon. Throughout these experiences, Fredrik has demonstrated his dedication to culinary excellence, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to quality.

In 2017, Fredrik was elected to the esteemed Stockholm Culinary T eam, where he competed in the Culinary World Cup 2018 in Luxembourg, helping the team secure a Gold Medal—a testament to his skill and passion for the craft.

In addition to his culinary achievements, Fredrik is recognised for his outstanding leadership and management skills. His approach to running a kitchen is marked by a balance of precision and creativity, fostering an environment where both established and aspiring chefs can thrive. As a mentor, he has guided numerous young chefs, sharing his knowledge and passion for the craft, and shaping the future of Swedish cuisine.
