Annual Classic Crayfish Party & Seafood Platter at TAK – A Long-Awaited Tradition

Are you looking for the most unique crayfish party in Stockholm? Every August, we crank up the volume for TAK’s annual, wildly popular crayfish party – Izakaya style. It has become one of late summer’s most anticipated traditions in Stockholm.

We’re serving up a massive seafood platter, packed with premium Nordic ingredients in a bold Asian fusion. Think fresh crayfish and crispy sushi paired with side orders like Västerbotten korokke (crispy Japanese croquettes with vendace roe), our famous Skagen, and an absolutely insane yuzu and dill crown hollandaise.

To match the feast, we're pouring seriously good Japanese sake and fresh cocktails made with Nordic aquavit. The ultimate blend of Nordic tradition and Japanese craft.

1st Serving: Small Bites from the Sea

An elegant, fresh introduction featuring raw delicacies from the ocean.
Oysters – Fresh, briny, and perfectly shucked.
Salmon Sashimi – Melt-in-your-mouth premium salmon.
Crayfish Maki – A seasonal twist on a classic sushi roll.
Scallop Nigiri – Sweet, clean, and elegant flavors.

2nd Serving: The Shellfish Platter ‘Izakaya Style’

A towering seafood platter loaded with premium local shellfish, served with innovative Japanese accompaniments.
Swedish Crayfish & Swedish Prawns – The absolute stars of the season.
Langoustines – Served with a luxurious hollandaise infused with yuzu and dill crown.
Skagen ’Izakaya style’ – An Asian fusion reimagining of the classic Swedish prawn salad.
Västerbotten Korokke – Crispy Japanese-style croquettes filled with rich Västerbotten cheese, topped with pickled red onion, crème fraîche, and premium vendace roe (löjrom).
