Lonely Christmas Tree Seeking Presents

Christmas is a time full of wonderful traditions. We bake gingerbread cookies, drink glögg, and decorate a beautiful tree. But Christmas isn’t always a happy time for everyone – and that’s why we have our very own Christmas tradition at Strawberry. It’s called The Lonely Christmas Tree Seeking Presents. Here we invite you to donate an unwrapped gift that will be given to

You can also donate money by purchasing a Christmas card at our location for 50 SEK and hanging it on our Lonely Christmas Tree.

Gifts for The Lonely Christmas Tree can be dropped off between November 25th and December 16th, 2024.

Speak to our service staff on-site, and they’ll be happy to accept your donations.

Since 2012, Strawberry has been collecting Christmas presents through the initiative “Lonely Christmas Tree Seeking Presents” to support children and adults in challenging life situations. Neighbors, guests, and employees are all welcome to donate gifts and place them under the Christmas trees in the lobbies of any of Strawberry's hotels across the Nordics. The gifts are then donated to a local organization or association, helping to bring a little extra light to those in need during the holiday season. The initiative has seen incredible participation and generosity over the years, with a total of 360,000 gifts donated so far.
