Riesling Weeks at TAK

For two weeks in May, we’re transforming floors 13 and 14 into a paradise for everyone who loves (or wants to learn to love) Riesling. With Riesling Weeks, we want to show you just how insanely well this grape pairs with our food.

What’s happening at the top?

We’ve stocked up on five different Riesling wines by the glass—ranging from bone-dry Trocken to elegant, slightly sweeter Kabinett.

Many Swedes are a bit wary of wines with sweetness, but it’s time to think again! A Kabinett possesses a magical freshness that marries perfectly with our flavors. And hey... keep an eye on the sommelier. If they’re in a particularly good mood, the cork might just pop on a GG (Grosses Gewächs)—the Riesling world’s answer to Grand Cru!

The Ultimate Combo: You have to try our Izakaya sushi (floor 14) paired with a glass of Riesling—it’s a match made in heaven.

Why it works: The acidity in the wine is like a laser beam, cutting right through the richness of, for example, a truly buttery fish sauce.

The Vibe: The same great TAK atmosphere and views, but with an extra sharp focus in your glass.
